UCLA Health Sciences needed a web portal that unified the areas of research and education in the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA with the patient care offered by UCLA Healthcare. The website developed by Ctrl presents a design which binds together the many facets of UCLA Health Sciences, offering a comprehensive medical services listing, a physician database, information for graduate and postdoctoral students in the medical schools, and support for the UCLA community and the Los Angeles community-at-large. The website communicates with internal and external database systems to provide concise and up-to-date data for users. The system makes use of a custom-built client-friendly content management system, the Ctrl CMS.
